Replacement of QR Codes by Colored Matrices
Moc, Filip ; Szentandrási, István (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about developing new color code for saving digital data in an image. In this report you can find informations about existing related technologies including some existing codes. You can also find here design of the new code and it's gradual improvements. There is also description of generation and recognition of this code. Finally there are results of experiments which demonstrates the success of all the work.
Secure data transmition using bar codes
Kratochvíl, Martin ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to create a system for visual data transmition using bar codes. It focuses mainly on the protection of the system against abuse. A mechanism was designed for the data transmition itself and the various security concepts. The most appropriate bar code for data transmition was selected on the basis of the analysis.
Barcodes Generation Library
Horáček, Tomáš ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
In the theoretical part of this thesis are described linear, stacked and 2-D Matrix barcodes. Practical part describes the barcode generation library and shows some example which demonstrate the usage of this library.
SAP Modul for Encoding Invoices to QR Codes
Švancar, Boris ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with encoding payment data invoices into QR codes in accordance with the by square standard. The SAP system along with a process of encoding data into QR codes and by square PAY standard is introduced in my thesis. In compliance with the standard function module is designed for the SAP system which is in the ABAB language, using Smartforms form allowing the QR codes to generate the invoice. The module is then subjected to testing. The results are evaluated in conclusion of the master's thesis and a description of potential further development is assessed as a final step.
Attribute Authentication on Android Platform
Strakoš, Jan ; Ricci, Sara (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on implementation of ABC (Anonymous attribute-based credential) pilot system on the Android platform. The support for attribute authentication on the Android platform is very weak in terms of the number of implementations and needs a special attention. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the cryptographic support on the Android platform, the use of the Android Native Development Kit (NDK) and the Host-Card Emulation (HCE) service. The theoretical part of the thesis also includes a description of attribute authentication schemes, including a pilot RKVAC system. The practical part describes the implementation of the RKVAC system on the Android platform along with the implementation of a custom cryptographic kernel based on the native MCL cryptographic library. The practical part of this thesis describes implementation proces of RKVAC system on Android plaform, that uses native cryptographic library MCL. The final part shows the results of time, memory and computation difficulty of developed applications.
Decoding Barcode in Image in Real Time
Krupa, Martin ; Kajan, Rudolf (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to describe barcodes used in real world applications and to create application for real time detecting and decoding of chosen barcodes using computer vision. Normal linear barcode is first introduced, and then two dimensional matrix barcode is described with focus on its origin, usage and structure. Especially the process of localization, encoding and decoding of QR Code, which is chosen for future use in work, is described mainly. Also briefly description of computer vision and OpenCV library is available. Next the concept and implementation of application for localization and recognition of QR Codes is described. Finally description of testing, evaluation of thesis and ways of improvements are discussed.
Design, analysis and implementation of the cash register system
Ponechal, Mikuláš ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
The master's thesis introduces cash register system currently used by Brno zoo and Starezsport Brno. The aim of the thesis was to study and describe above-mentioned systems and hardware they are interacting with, to analyze, design and create new custom cashier system. The first chapter includes the analysis of cashier systems, and overview of selected technologies for developement. Second chapter introduces developement designs and practices. The third chapter contains short system documentation and the last, fourth chapter is devoted to testing basic cashier system functionality.
Web applications for user authentication
Vybíral, Petr ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problems of user authentication. The first chapter analyzes the problem of authentication, its methods and its utilization. The second chapter presents the different security options for communication. The chapter describes security, communication and authentication protocols. There is the 2D barcode QR Code described at the end of the chapter. The third chapter is devoted to ASP.NET technology, its development and possibilities of utilization. Attention is focused on web form and server controls. There is an analysis of elements of cookies and possibilities of their use. The last chapter consists of a practical part, which describes the development of a web application. There is a description of the parts of application, such as the database, the Web navigation, master pages and etc. in the following chapter. The cardinal part of the chapter consists of an analysis and implementation of forms authentication, the attribute authentication and authentication with QR code. Finally, there is a description of way how to secure the communication by using a certificate.
QR code detection under ROS implemented on the GPU
Detection, Localization, and Decoding QR Code in Image
Kałuża, Marian ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis describes the QR Code detector based on detecting edge lines using Hough Transform and point-to-line parametrization. Generally, the presented method can be also used for detecting different types of matrix codes. This approach searches in the accumulated Hough space for evidence of the matrix code as one compound object. It detects parallel lines by finding a concurrent lines' image groups in the transformed space. It contrasts with the common approach which is first detect the lines and calculate the vanishing point afterwards, which omit much of the useful information stored in the Hough space which can be useful for the detection of vanishing points. The purpose of this thesis is a research of methods which can detect the QR Code in spite of rotation, perspective distortion or uneven illumination. The experimental evaluation shows that the presented algorithm is stable and accurate and is tolerant to high degrees of perspective deformation.
